early october

Lisa flew to Florida on Thursday. I'm keeping busy with work, but when I got home this morning I was disappointed to see her side of the bed empty. I knew she wouldn't be there, but expected her anyway.

I emailed a photo, shown below, to her. I took it this morning and thought of her, down there in the Florida heat. I sent a new box of allergy medicine with her and forgot to get another one for me. The pills ran out last night. Ouch.
