ouch

I suppose I could have gone to bed earlier last night/this morning. As it stands, I got to bed a 4 A.M., tossed and turned for an hour or so (playing stringed musical instruments in my head, unable to force it to stop) and ended up sleeping for about three hours. I woke up to wind howling in through the open bedroom window and a headache like my skull was going to explode. I took an antihistamine and a lot of ibuprofen; the pain is abating.

Now I'm out on the couch listening to my daytime NPR shows. I should be able to sleep out here with the radio playing in the background. That way I can learn about current events while I sleep.
