The B complex capsules are already having a bit of an effect. I feel quite a bit better.
I spent most of my birthday (today) upgrading the software in my laptop. Good thing there are other computers here; I had to get online to look a few things up.
The upgrade was pretty extensive, moving up from the stable Natty Narwhal to the beta-level Oneiric Ocelot. How did the upgrade go? Let's just say that I had the opportunity to relearn some system-level stuff that I haven't needed to use for a while.
When I switched over to Linux from Windows XP, I quickly became bored. Ubuntu is so dang stable. There was very little sysadmin stuff to deal with.
So I went to the beta program. ("Whoops! Hey! How come [program X] crashed? It worked yesterday.") Back in 2000-2004, I did the same thing with Mandrake (now Mandriva) Linux. It keeps things interesting. And it makes me appreciate having a spare machine, even an old beat-up one, for emergencies.

When I had a B deficiency, I did a bit of research on it and found that B vitamins don't stay in your system anywhere near as long as other vitamins (only a day or so), so it's very easy to be deficient in that area.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better and got to do something fun for your birthday!
