don't believe the FUD from SCO regarding Linux

Dennis Ritchie, one of the acknowledged fathers of Unix, declares here that the code released by SCO as "proof that their proprietary code has been included in Linux" is, in fact, code that he (Ritchie) and Ken Thompson wrote long ago, long before SCO owned Unix - code that was released into the public domain under the GPL.

SCO is making itself out as the Micro$oft of the *nix world. They will not prevail, for they have neither the means nor the law behind them.
