James Hohmann from Politico is on the Bill Press show (Full Court Press on Current TV) this morning discussing CPAC.

He said that a Republican friend of his described Sarah Palin as "the Kim Kardashian of the Republican Party." Famous for being famous and lacking any real impact. A walking reality show.

He pointed out her silly "Big Gulp" stunt at CPAC and one of the other fellows on the show said that Palin has become a prop comic, like Carrot Top. Bill objected to that, saying that he has seen Carrot Top perform and - unlike Sarah Palin - he is actually funny.
