the President's inaugural address

I listened to President Obama's inaugural address on Monday on the radio rather than watching it on TV. That is how I prefer to hear speeches; without visual distractions.

And I have to say that I agreed with every single word of his speech, from start to finish.

Despite what GOP leaders and so-called religious figures have said, I heard nothing of "proud liberalism" or especially "those who voted for Obama don't have to give up anything but those who voted against him, watch out."

What I heard was an expression of American and, yes, Christian ideals. We're all in this together and he who hurts the least of us hurts us all.
