ramp festival

The annual Ramp Festival in Waynesville, NC is tomorrow. We almost missed out; Lisa thought that it was next weekend, but a friend called today to remind us about it. It costs about $10 per person, but you get all the food that you can eat. I'm trying not to eat tonight so I have plenty of room tomorrow. My weight recently went up to 128 pounds and I feel bloated already. But I plan to pig out tomorrow (and stink like ramps the next day).

Our next door neighbor was saying a couple of days ago that he figured that they'll need to buy ramps for the festival. They came on real early this year and he doesn't think that there will be enough still growing locally.
