not going yet

Last night Lisa was determined to get to North Carolina ASAP. Like this week. Her mother broke her arm and that just reminded Lisa that she hasn't made any progress on the plan to move back home.

But, she has an appointment next week to get the hard liner in her dentures, and her monthly appointment the following week, so it will be nearly three weeks before we can get up there.

At first we will be coming back at least once a month. Eventually we'll probably be living there full-time. We need to get things straight financially, though. I should be able to get the same kind of occasional contract work that I have been doing.

Last night I gave up on the dual-boot system of Ubuntu and Windows XP. All of my documents are saved on Lisa's old machine, so I went ahead and wiped my Dell and installed Ubuntu alone. I haven't moved most of my documents over yet, but I did get my Firefox bookmarks and passwords transferred.
