goodbye, Frank

Sarah notified us this afternoon that Frank Whitney passed away a couple of days ago. He is the fellow I worked for last winter and spring. Hard-working, very intelligent and goodhearted. I was fortunate to have known him, and would like to think that I'm a better person for it.

I wish I could say more about him, but at the moment I'm a bit foggy and kind of stunned. Still fighting a cold and saddened by Frank's passing.

Lisa came down with my bug today - weakness, lightheadedness, nausea and stomach cramps. I've had it for three days and while the nausea is gone, the weakness remains and the voice is froggy. Knee-deep.
