I am very disappointed with the Senate. Especially since they let the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" derail an entire Defense funding bill.

The filibuster needs to go. It isn't in the Constitution; it is a concept added much later and modified over the years, thus hardly cast in stone.

The fact that an issue so obviously morally correct as gays serving openly is even vulnerable to a filibuster is disgusting. That's the word that comes to mind. Absolutely disgusting and plainly contrary to both our nation's ideals and civilization as a whole.
