the water broke

Sarah is in the hospital; her water broke today. Lisa quickly dressed and drove to the hospital as soon as we received the news.

Jacob and Bird both called to tell us about Sarah - within a couple minutes of each other.

I congratulated Bird on his sixth grandchild.

And so I'm stuck here watching the dog instead of helping Frank. I had to take yesterday off because I hurt my back days ago.

The worst of it hit me yesterday. Today I can move around better, but my back warns me when I try to do too much. All I can really do is take a lot of ibuprofen ("Got pain? Nupe it!") and lay around.

Do they still sell Nuprin? I don't even look at brand name pain relievers any more. Got me a jug of 500 "ibies" cheap and it'll last a long time.
