shouldering the burden

Lisa had surgery on her left shoulder yesterday. They went in to repair a couple of tears and found some arthritis.

She is feeling better already. There is an enormous rubbery bandage cover on her shoulder; it looks like a football player's shoulder pad.

We received a variety package of oranges from Dad and Velma yesterday as well, and they are delicious. No more scurvy!
