home sweet home

In keeping with my recent postings of houses I have lived in, here is the first (and only) house I owned. We bought it for $33,500 shortly after we were married and owned it for 11 years. The next owner tore off the covered front porch that we had added. I hope he gave the interior a proper restoration; we did our best but were relatively poor at the time and couldn't give it "the works", although we did tear down the old mud room at the back of the house and replaced it with a 16' x 16' kitchen.
