around the block

The pups had their first walk around the block this morning. Surprisingly, they saw the fireplug at the corner as something threatening. They barked maniacally at it until we took them over and let them smell it.

Next door to our house is a recently sold home that is being renovated. A large dumpster was therefore placed in the front yard. Lisa asked if it would be OK if we used it to get rid of a pile of junk that has accumulated over the years. They gladly acceded to our request, noting that it would be easier to resell the property if we didn't have a junk pile visible from their driveway.

We finally got the job done today. All that remains is an old and rotten La-Z-Boy recliner and a nearly stripped motorcycle frame. Furthermore, they gave us four full 4x8 sheets of 1/2" plywood. Don't know what we will do with it, but hey, it will certainly come in handy at some future date.
