Sarah Palin was happy to take the money from the Feds to build "the bridge to nowhere", but keeps repeating the lie that she "told them thanks but no thanks." What actually happened is, Congress cut the money from the spending bill on its own. She never told them that she didn't want it.
And then of course there is the claim that she has foreign policy experience because, as governor of Alaska, she was commander-in-chief of the Alaska National Guard. That claim was quickly denounced by Adjutant General Craig Campbell, but when he changed his story Palin promoted him.
Even her own spokesman can't justify her claim of "foreign policy experience".
