return of the tardis

My laptop returned to life this evening. I had removed most of the hardware and let it air-dry, then gave a final checkup on the power cord. I unplugged the cable from the power supply and unplugged the power supply from the wall. When I plugged the PS back in, I noticed that the little green LED wasn't lighting up. I moved the plug to several different socket, with no luck. Finally I stuck in back into one I had already tried. The green light came on! So I connected the other end to the PC and it fired right up.
