boom boom

There is a program on my local PBS station right now, "The Boomer Century (1946-2046)", about my generation.

Actually, I come in at the tail end of that generation, having been born in 1962. My brother is three years younger and thus does not fall into the category of "Baby Boomer".

It sure brings back a lot of memories: riding my bike around the neighborhood, playing softball in the neighbors' back yards, walking in the woods, walking or riding my bike to school. Those were the days when kids could go out and play without their parents worrying too much about abduction.
