hope at last

Hope Community, that is

I've been on the waiting list for residence at Hope Community for six months. Friday afternoon, upon leaving the library, I encountered a friend who works there. He brought me to his office and set up an intake appointment for this afternoon.

Three meals a day, laundry and shower facilities -- and a real indoor bed -- make this an understandably attractive proposition.

And, further down the road, I could be moving back to the Rochester area. Day labor hasn't sent me out at all yet here but I have a job offer for later this summer in NYS. That's all I can say for now.
