"Unkle Roger" McCall, late night DJ for WCMF 96.5 FM in Rochester, NY for roughly 30 years, was slain recently while collecting rent from a tenant at a property he owned. I should mention that it was not his tenant that killed him.

"Unkle Rog," as he was known, was a good man. He will be welcomed by St. Peter, though prematurely.

He will be sorely missed.

I left the Rochester area four years ago. It tears at my soul to know that I won't hear Unkle Rog ever again. Rest in peace, brother. You were loved.
