the FCC says what? Are you sure?
Yes, it's true: the FCC classified Howard Stern's radio show as a "news program" just so Ahhhnold (the Gubernator) Schwarzenegger could be on his show without requiring opposing candidates to get equal air time.
Clearly there is some extraordinary political pull going on here. Ahhhnold Schwarzenegger getting air time without any of his opponents acquiring equal time? To be sure, nobody else on the Cahl-ee-faw-nia ticket would likely care to be on Stern's show (can you blame them?) - but for the FCC to change the rules mid-stream just screams "partisanship."
This is even worse than the Sylvia Browne "comedy relief" (we hope) appearance on Larry King.
Another sign of the "End Times," I suppose. I tell you this: if Dubya is "re"elected in 2004, I may as well just take my 401(k) out and party like it's Dec. 23, 2012. That's the end of the world per the Mayan calendar. Sounds about right to me; so much for living 'til I'm 90.
Hey, it's good to have options.
