trespassers!
Two years ago, a new tenant moved into the house next door. Within a week he came over and introduced himself, and said that some cousins from out of town would be visiting for two weeks. Since he didn't have room in his driveway for all of the cars, he asked if they could drive in through my driveway so that they could park in his back yard.
Foolishly, I said that it would be OK.
Now, two years and 4 successive tenants later, there are tracks worn deep into the ground from that same back yard; my driveway is now a mudhole that I have to either ride through on my bicycle or walk around if I happen to be on foot.
Tomorrow, I will call my landlord about getting a fence installed.
Fucking inconsiderate assholes. None of the tenants since the first has asked whether they can trespass on my property. Hopefully they haven't established a legal easement by now. My landlord's real estate company sold the house next door recently, and the purchaser also used my driveway regularly whilst rehabilitating the house. He didn't ask for permission either. He never - not even once - parked in that house's driveway.
Let's see them try to park back there with a big-ass fence blocking their way. Do I care? Obviously not. Nor should I. They obviously don't care about turning my driveway into a mudhole.
Welp
