George W. Bush stars as Herbert Hoover in:
"A Hard Day's Presidency"

background entertainment: the Beatles, "A Hard Day's Night," DVD

George W. Bush is now the proud proprietor of the largest Federal deficit in history. He also has the distinction of presiding over the biggest and longest sustained stock market losses since the 1929 crash. Soon he will be the first president since Herbert Hoover to preside over an actual decline in real jobs. Now that's something to be proud of.

No wonder all he talks about is the "war on terra."

Thanks to his accent and his proclivity toward foreshortening words and phrases, you can't really tell if he is referring to a war against terrorism or an all-out attack against Mother Earth (also known as Terra). After all, he seems to be doing battle against both rather aggressively.

His first tax cut scam hasn't helped anybody find work; if anything, more people are out of work. Just look at the unemployment statistics, and remember that the people who have given up aren't included.

Now he wants an enormous new tax cut. Bloody hell, the first one only made things worse; he's increased spending in the wrong areas, decreased spending in a few areas (but spending overall has increased drastically) and he seems to believe that a tax cut will help boost the economy. The man is clearly mad. But then, he also thought that nobody would ever notice that he didn't show up for National Guard service for nearly a year, even after he went into national politics.
