You're in the Geek box.
What box do you get put in?

Me? In the Geek Box? Say it ain't so!
I was so sure that I had grown past the geekiness of my youth. Perhaps not. But, look at my other Quizilla results. I'm Batman; I'm Spaceman Spiff; I'm Linus. I am also Debian Linux, which is probably a bad omen, but I think it's mighty cool anyway. That is also, most likely, a bad sign.
Today I made my preparations for Easter. The first thing I did was make sure that my phone was fully charged; that way I can call my folks and my kids tomorrow. Then, I went down to the corner store to make sure I had enough milk, juice, and smokes for the holiday.
Then, of course, I had to do the grocery shopping. I leapt to action; I cranked up the cable modem and logged on to www.papajohns.com. You might say that I'm a regular reader of that page; I've been surfin' that site long enough to have changed my address twice since I first logged on.
Since I already have a logon at Papa John's, I wasted no time in locating and subduing my prey, and arranging for delivery to my humble abode. I won't bore you with the details, but I will say that it was a successful hunt. Enough pizza for Saturday evening and Easter Sunday, with a two-liter Coca-Cola to boot.
You really can't beat the classics. A little cranberry sauce would be a nice side dish for the pizza that has ham on it, though. Being bereft of cranberries, cranberry sauce, or even cranberry juice, I shall soldier on.
Good gracious. I am a geek. (But I always knew that, after all.)
Happy Easter to all who believe in it. A special early Happy Easter to those who worship in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
The feast of Passover was celebrated this past Thursday, April 17. I missed it. It is also unlikely that I'll find my way to a church on Easter. There is, as far as I know, only one Catholic church here in Tallahassee, and it's far across town. There are an astounding abundance of Baptist churches, though. Go figure - Baptist churches all about, a few other denominations; only one Catholic church. In the Florida Panhandle, of all places. OK, so that's probably not so unlikely.
I just checked, and there is in fact a Greek Orthodox church here. There are only two in Rochester. Rochester also has Ukrainian Orthodox, Romanian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Orthodox Jewish congregations ... a lot of European emigrants landed in NYC or Toronto, so there is a large population of 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation new Americans who moved here after their arrival.
One of these days, I'm going to walk into one of those Baptist churches. I've been to Baptist and Methodist services before, but I do prefer Catholic; still, we all worship the same God.
I wonder what they do at Buddhist temples ... I guess some research is in order.
