Turkey Day in Wrinkle City

Today is that holiest of the High Holy Days, the American "Thanksgiving" Day celebration. I am spending it with my parents at their winter home in Dade City, Florida - which is only about ten miles north of Zephyr Hills, affectionately known as "Wrinkle City."

I'm writing this blog entry on a WebTV keyboard; my first experience with such a device. Not too bad. I miss the mouse, but I've certainly dealt with nastier technology before.

We are all just too spoiled here. It's about 62 degrees and we are complaining that it is "cold." Bear in mind that we (my parents and I) grew up within 15 miles of Lake Ontario, and lived there most of our lives; the cold is in our blood. We should not be so thin-skinned, but there you are.
