helpless

There is very little I can do for Lisa other than try to keep her comfortable. It is only a stomach bug (probably) but she is so sick. She can't keep anything down. I brought home some ginger ale to settle her guts, but so far she can only take tiny sips and throws them back up a few minutes later anyway.

And so I sit in the living room - she wants the bedroom dark and quiet - listening for sounds from the bedroom. Feeling helpless.
