Our landlord has been trying to rent out the trailer on the next lot for a long time. So we are happy for him that a young couple has rented it. Our private spot on the mountain isn't so quiet anymore.
Today was a warm (low 50's) and mostly rainy day. I had occasion to head off to town in the late afternoon but turned back when I was halfway there. The rain was coming down hard and I was hydroplaning a little bit, so I bought a couple of things at the dollar store rather than going all the way to the grocery store.

I found it interesting that the only time I have heard Huntsman attacked by his competitors, it was Mitt Romney dismissing Huntsman's service as Ambassador to China as working for the enemy, i.e. President Obama. Huntsman's comeback was sharp and to the point: national service is not limited to working with your own political party. You have to work with everyone. I won't vote for Huntsman because a) he is a Republican, and b) because I believe that President Obama's work is picking up steam and he is our best hope for the future.
