I suppose it is love

My attitude has been falling for a few days. Lisa noticed it before I did. It's that time again; my meds are due and I've run out of a couple of them. It'll be OK for a few days. Lisa's sister in Florida is authorized to pick them up and mail them to me.

But I came to a realization tonight: even though I need "alone time," and a lot of it, it just isn't the same when Lisa is away from home. When she and I are in separate rooms, at least I know she's here. When she is at her mother's house, or at a neighbor's place (she has met a lot of them in the last few days), I get lonely. So does Rocko, of course, but he goes with her to the neighbors' houses.

This never occurred to me before. We have been together for almost four years and, while she gets on my nerves sometimes, I do not want to be without her. Ours is a love that will last a lifetime and beyond.
