taking care of business

The active lives we led in Haywood County have carried over into our "normal" routines at home. I've been keeping busy cleaning (a bit), clearing off the nature trail in the back yard, caring for some of the decorative plants and trees, and even cooking more.

Our mission today was to take Rocko in for a full checkup and all recommended vaccinations. He got his new license tag, too. Afterward we took him to the dog park as a reward for being such a good dog at the vet's office.

Tomorrow morning I take the car in for a 7500 mile checkup. That's good, because it has had serious miles put on it over the past month; about 2,500, in fact. Two round trips of 1,200 miles each, plus driving around while we were there. In the afternoon I have a job at the Tampa airport, Yay, money!
