webster water (eww)

Webster, NY will be changing its water supply from their own local system to the Monroe County water system. Opposition to the plan was scuttled by a court decision.

I grew up in the town neighboring Webster to the south, Penfield.

Webster's northern border is the south shore of Lake Ontario, so they certainly have plenty of water available to them. On the other hand, Webster's town motto, "Where life is worth living," is often appended with, "and the water isn't worth drinking." I presume that they'll get better water through the county.
