This morning's local TV news let me know that Felix Baumgartner was finally able to make his historic jump.

Baumgartner's jump has been in planning for a long, long time and I've casually followed the project. The previous altitude record holder, Col. Joe Kittinger, was on Baumgartner's team.

Gaaahh. It's early and I don't feel like jumping into research yet. But kudos to Felix Baumgartner and his team.
