sleep cycles

Working the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift is, of course, resetting my biological clock.

On my days off, during the day I take naps; some long, some short. At night I go to bed fairly early and then get up at midnight or 1 a.m., staying up until around sunrise. Right now it is 5:30 a.m. and I've been up for five hours.

Ah, that explains why my nose is running. I took an antihistamine when I got up and it has worn off.

Oh well. Nap time again. I was going to make coffee but it's still too early.
