parliamentary battle

I saw this on the BBC World News tonight, before I gave up trying to sleep for a while and came out here to play with my computer:

MPs brawl in Ukraine parliament chamber

"Opposition politicians in Ukraine are demanding an investigation into why a session of parliament descended into a fist-fight.

"Members of the Rada were debating a bill that would give the Russian language equal status to Ukrainian in some parts of the country when the brawl broke out." (From the BBC)

The video they showed on TV was pretty entertaining, but apparently this kind of excitement is not uncommon in the Rada.
