Our visit to Lisa's new doctor went very well, and we like him a lot. He even took Lisa's vitals himself rather than letting a nurse or assistant do it. He is friendly and kind.
When Lisa first contacted his office, she was told that they would not prescribe narcotics; presumably they tell prospective patients that in case they are drug-seekers. Nevertheless he did, but (at our request) for a lower dosage than she had been taking. Both of us liked the way she "got her mind back" when she was off narcotics. The problem with going off narcotics completely was that her pain is constant and is not contained by over-the-counter pain medicines.
