the lodger

Our latest lodger is leaving, after staying with us for a couple of weeks. He brought his dogs over, less than a week ago, without explicit permission. They are sweet, old dogs; but they are destructive. They damaged an inside door trying to get out of his bedroom and they damaged an aluminum door that exits the pool cage.

As far as we know, he has no place to go, but the dogs have to leave and he won't part with them. I understand. If they were my dogs I would love them and make greater accommodations than I have, but they are not my dogs. Supervising them while our lodger is at work is far too much work. Lisa is getting exhausted and I am getting upset.
