Romanian spammer

Last Wednesday, and again yesterday (Sunday), somebody logged in to my email account from a mobile device in Romania and sent short spam messages containing links to who-knows-what to everybody in my contact list. I apologize to anyone who may have received said spam.

The last date when I sent anybody an email was 02 July 2011. Any email from my account dated from 03 July 2011 through 10 July 2011 was not sent by me.

Yesterday morning, within 20 minutes after the last spam attack, I saved my contact list to a text file and deleted all of my contacts from Yahoo. This morning I deleted them again, because Yahoo holds them in a recycle-bin-type thingy for a week or so in case you want to undelete them.

I've changed my passwords in a lot of places and will continue to do so.
