I was disappointed - yet, sadly, not surprised - with your vote to
terminate HAMP. Surely you have your reasons, but let me briefly state why
I disagree.

Without HAMP, my physically disabled fiancee would be living in the woods
or in my car. Our house would join the roughly 10% of houses in our
neighborhood that have been either foreclosed upon or whose owners have
simply walked away.

Perhaps you should focus more on ensuring that corporations pay their fair
share and less on how to (however unwittingly) harm the poor.
