here we are!

We arrived at Largo Medical Center just after 5:30 am. Shortly thereafter, they took us to a room where Lisa had an EKG and they drew some blood. Then we had to go back to Admissions to sign in and get Lisa's wristband.

After that, we were brought up to our room. As Lisa's "coach", I got my own hospital bed - complete with a TV and wireless access. It took a little bit of futzing about before I was able to connect, but I got it to work.

They took her to surgery less than an hour ago and said that it would be about three hours before she returns. So, I went out for a couple of smokes.

There is complimentary coffee (regular, decaf, mocha, cappuccino) and iced tea. I have already made one putt on the indoor putting green right outside the door (a hole in one!).
