Lisa woke up, about an hour and a half after returning from surgery, craving a cigarette and needing to go to the bathroom. She also has a bag of Ringer's lactate hooked up to an IV in her hand, but the line is shut off and the bag was buried in her bedclothes rather than hung on a hook. I hung up the bag to get it out of the way but did not set it to flowing.

I'll get in touch with somebody on the staff to find out if she can go to the bathroom. They'll probably apply a nicotine patch rather than let her go out to smoke.

Since there is a bathroom with a shower, I took advantage of it and feel nice and clean now.
