clarification

When I said that "they got him ... and let him go", I was referring to his latest arrest:

"James L. Strickland, 50, was arrested on Mar. 29 on charges of grand theft ($300 or more but less than $5,000) and dealing in stolen property. He was released from the Leon County Jail the next day." (Tallahassee Democrat)
