A couple of days ago this bit of insanity caught my eye.
I have little to say. It speaks for itself. Texas, which drives the content of textbooks, is gutting the teaching of history. Let us hope that students have the drive to go to the library, or at least Wikipedia, to learn the whole truth about our Nation's heritage - lumps, scars and shining moments.

I saw the article you are referring to. I guess if there is any place in this country that could adopt what that crackpot is suggesting it would be Texas.
