getting creative

Thanks to some "creative budgeting", we will not be losing our Internet and TV this weekend, and our electricity will not be cut off.

Tonight I have an interview for a work-at-home customer service job that I found on Craigslist. I applied for about half-a-dozen jobs that I found there today, and although one of them (upon further investigation) sounded a bit like a scam - pay them $95 to get started on another work-at-home customer service job - this one sounds legitimate. If I get the job, I will be able to earn money and take care of Lisa as well.

When Lisa told her son and daughter-in-law to move out for failure to pay anything toward the utilities, her son seriously questioned whether that would actually cut down on the power bill. Today we got the answer, when the latest bill came: it was 45% lower than the previous one. Problem solved.
