thank you for sending me an angel

Recently, my stepmother Velma sent me a small medallion depicting an angel as a reminder that my late mother is always with me. She also gave one to my brother and another to my father.

Lisa seems to have some psychic abilities and, when I first started spending time at her house, had visions of my mother here. Ever since Mom passed away I have felt that she is watching over me and doing her best to help and protect me. For example, I believe she was instrumental in getting me into rehab last winter.

On another topic, I find it difficult to believe that a significant number of female Hillary supporters will end up voting for McCain/Palin just because Palin is a woman. Palin's stated and demonstrated policies are polar opposites to Hillary Clinton's. Anybody who votes for McCain simply because his running mate is a woman is incredibly shallow (although "shallow" accurately describes a significant proportion of the American public's political opinion).
