father's day

Both of my kids contacted me for Father's Day. That was nice, because they don't always do so. I imagine that my being sober and having Internet and phone access helped in that regard.

My son-in-law will be stationed in Hawaii with my daughter when he reenlists. He made sure to get it in writing that he would go there, so they can't back out on the deal.

I am looking forward to meeting him around Christmastime when they both come back to Florida for the holiday.
