mangroves

A local woman contacted me through MySpace a few days ago. We wrote back and forth a few times, and tonight I called her. We talked for nearly an hour and have decided to meet at a nearby park tomorrow, down near the mangroves.

I was hesitant to call her, because deep down I am still very shy, but especially because I haven't had a date in many years. Thus I feel very rusty and out-of-practice in terms of building a relationship. We seemed to hit it off well on the phone, though, and I am optimistic about tomorrow.
