good stuff

The folks took me out to Quizno's this afternoon. They also brought cookies, a lemon-pepper chicken breast and a cable splitter. After eating we went to Wal-Mart where they bought a padlock for my bike and a short coaxial cable to attach to the splitter, then Velma got me a carton of smokes when we checked out. I now have cable TV in my room - I'm watching PBS now.

All in all, it has been a very good day for me. It was good to see Dad and Velma. Then, to top it all off, they wrote a check for another month's rent. More than I could have asked for. Tonight I will thank God for everything. I am truly blessed.
