coming and going

A few weeks ago I mentioned that two guys had been kicked out for failing urine tests. One of them was let back in, but he moved out again of his own volition as couple of days ago.

Another fellow moved in shortly after the two were put out, and he was kicked out this week because he tested positive for cocaine.

Meanwhile, I continue attending meetings on a daily basis. Yesterday I picked up my 90 day chip. While grocery shopping today, I walked down the baking supply aisle and saw a bottle of imitation vanilla flavoring. That made me think of real vanilla extract, which contains a significant percentage of alcohol. The idea of bringing some of that stuff home and drinking it after everyone else went to bed bounced about my brain for a while, but it finally passed. It is crazy how such ideas pop up in the alcoholic mind.
