alone again

The guy who moved in to my room on Tuesday failed his urinalysis last night. He was given a chance to try again this morning, and failed once more; at that point he packed up his belongings and left.

This weekend one of the other residents will be erecting a fourth wall in my bedroom. You see, I stay in the loft over the living room and the side facing west is open. I can hear the television down there very clearly. When they have loud conversations it is as if they are in my room. And, of course, the pool table is down there too - so when they play (every evening) one would think that it is in my room as well.

For a couple of days I will have to move into the next room down the hall because of the construction project. I'll have cable for my television but will not be able to get on the internet at will, since my ethernet cable is not long enough.
