bomb threat

There was a bomb threat at the college this morning.

It only lasted a few minutes; the president of the college quickly sprang to action, sending out the word that no buildings were to be evacuated.

Nice to know that he cares about us.

I hadn't even heard about it until a student flagged me down as I drove around campus. She asked if I knew anything about it ("Nope. Sorry.") and ventured the opinion that she didn't want to go to class now.
