hospice care

Dad finally gave in and called for a home health aide to stay overnight so he could get a good night's sleep. He is also seriously considering moving Mom into a residential hospice. At first he hesitated, fearing that such a move would confuse her further, but she is no longer aware that she is at home. In fact, yesterday she told my dad and her nurse that she wanted to "go home".

As I've said, I'm spending the weekend at Eric's. His wife and kids finally got the dog they wanted. It already ran away once but they got it back because Eric's son chased it and caught it when it stopped to take a leak.
