The death toll for U.S. servicemen and women in Iraq has reached the 3,000 mark.

Today I start the new year on a good note: breakfast, coffee, cigarettes and a day at work.

Last night I helped my boss install a DVD drive in his home PC, but he still lacks the software to play DVDs. I would have searched the Internet for free DVD software, but his Comcast connection was acting up and only allowed intermittent web access.
